Cinderella's Story

This was my other new project for Christmas.  It started out as a joke.  When we went to Paris I complained about some of the pieces of art, mostly in the Pompidou, that I thought were stupid because they looked like someone just threw some paint at them.  One in particular had a description that said the piece represented some mythological battle between Hercules and some god or something, but to me it just looked like some smeared red paint.  So I thought it would be funny to make my own "art" and give it to Joe for Christmas.  It turned out much better than I expected.  I chose to "tell" a Disney story with the art, and for this one I picked Cinderella.  I even wrote out a page long description that explains the art.  When I finished it I liked it so much that I decided I wanted to keep it for myself.

So for Joe, I decided to make a mini "travel-size" copy for him on a tiny canvas.

I think I've finally found my true calling.
